Inviting Santa for Christmas Parties |

Santa Claus ThemeSanta Clause is a Christmas tradition that will never fade away. Every holiday season there are new movies made about him and he always has a long line at the shopping mall. Inviting Santa to your corporate or family Christmas party is always a great idea. You can never go wrong by inviting Santa to your family Christmas party. Many families have their Christmas before the actual holiday. This makes it easier to schedule the local Santa to make it to your family event. Give Santa all of the kid’s gifts to put in his bag and right before it is time to open gifts have him surprise the kids by walking in with a big, “Ho, Ho! Merry Christmas!” The kids are sure to go nuts! Children Christmas PartyFor those children that have a birthday around Christmas, Santa can be another good idea. Invite him to pass out favors to the children and the gifts to the birthday girl or boy. Then give the kids a chance to sit on Santa’s knee and tell him what they want for Christmas. This also a great photo opportunity for the parents that are there or you can take Polaroid’s for the kid’s parents. Some Santas have a helper and they will most likely be already doing this so you may need to find out the cost of the photos before the party. Corporate Christmas PartyCorporate parties may also include Santa. Some companies have family parties and allow the children to come. Santa can be a great guest if this is the case. Give him a bunch of favors or treats to hand out to the children and allow them to have a moment to tell them what they would like for Christmas. Parents will love this as well and Santa can also hand out gifts to them as well, perhaps their Christmas bonus check… Family Christmas PartyMany families that are unable to hire a Santa can often find Santa suits available for rent or purchase. Of course it helps if you have someone in the family who looks like a Santa, but you can usually do some pretty convincing make-up for those who don’t. Suits will often come complete with a beard and a bag to help you make a convincing Santa for the kids. Even if they know that Santa is really Uncle Jim, they will still love it and Christmas will be a blast. Companies can also have fun with this concept as well. Have the CEO dress up as Santa and pass out favors to employees and just have a blast being Santa. No matter how you use Santa at your Christmas party he will steal the show. Whether you still believe in Santa or not, he is a huge part of the Christmas culture and everyone enjoys seeing Santa, no matter what age they are. Santa represents Christmas and really makes it about the kids. Kids are sure to love seeing Santa and adults enjoy it as well, even if they don’t want to admit it. |
