Bilingual Thank You Cards to Those You Admire

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, you may already be thinking of all the people you’re thankful to have in your life. Most of us have close friends who’ve been there with us through difficult times. We’ve had mentors who’ve taught us the ropes in our job, education, or life. Maybe you realize how important your parents, grandparents, aunts, or uncles have been in shaping the great person you’ve become today. Maybe you want to show your employer appreciation for taking the chance of hiring you.

Whatever the reason, we all have people we admire and appreciate. And there’s a good chance some of those individuals either are not fluent in English or have a second language they speak. When you send thank you cards to these people, why not send a bilingual card?

Choosing Appropriate Bilingual Thank You Cards

If you’re going to create bilingual thank you cards, then it’s a good idea to start with blank greeting cards that do not even have writing on the outside cover. You can print the front at home so it can include “thank you” in English and whatever other language you choose. Then you can handwrite the message inside (remember thank you card messages are always best handwritten). You can buy blank greeting cards in either white or ivory with matching envelopes.

Saying Thank You in Other Languages

Just because you’re sending a bilingual thank you card that doesn’t mean you necessarily know multiple languages. Don’t let the language barrier prevent you from fulfilling this nice gesture. The list below shows how to say “thank you” in many of the most common languages spoken in the United States. Just find the language you need and you have everything you need to create a bilingual thank you card for the person you most admire.
