Create Long-Lasting Memories with Personalized Favors

Although you may remember your wedding day forever as if it just happened yesterday, your guests may not be so lucky. Remember they've probably been to dozens of weddings. So if you want to keep your wedding fresh in their memories then consider providing personalized wedding favors to all of your guests.

Now the costs involved in personalizing all of these favors can be a little high, but there are some lower-priced alternatives. The important thing is to pick the method that is going to work best with your budget.

One nice idea for personalized wedding favors are small picture frames. You can have the frames engraved with your names and the date of your wedding. If you want, you can even add a small picture of the two of you to make the frame even more special. Or you can leave it empty so they can add any picture they choose.

A more affordable way to personalize your wedding favors is by creating ribbons and tags that include the names of your guests. Because you can create the tags at home on your own computer and printer with some good quality paper (make sure it matches the rest of your wedding stationery) this option will cost you less than having something engraved. Of course, you could always opt for having your stationer print them up for you but that's going to be a little more expensive.

Another cute way of personalizing your wedding favors is to urchase candy that has been marked with the date of your wedding or with your names or any message you want. For example, you can customize orders of M & M candies. You can choose up to two different colored candies (they have 17 colors to pick from) and two lines with up to 8 characters on each candy. You can even have them delivered in decorative little bundles. Other companies provide similar services, but on bars of chocolate or on their wrappers.

You can also choose to provide gifts with a coffee cup, key chain, wine glass, or similar item that has been engraved with the date of the wedding, your names, or even your monogram. Make sure to wrap them decoratively in colors that match those of your wedding. If you're giving away a coffee cup or wine glass, it's a nice idea to throw in a small bag of freshly ground coffee beans, a recipe for a delicious mixed drink (maybe named after the happy couple or with a wedding related name), or miniature bottles of spirits (similar to what is served on airplanes).

Whether you choose personalized wedding favors or not, remember the gifts you give your guests don't need to be expensive but they should be thoughtful.
