Stress-Free Birthday Ideas for Kids of All Ages

Since the first child decided to invite his or her friends over to celebrate a birthday, parents have been scrambling to put together fun events their little ones with enjoy and remember for a lifetime. Below are a few examples of stress-free parties used by parents.

Ideas #1

One mom wanted to celebrate her son's fourth birthday in a unique way so she rented a room at a facility called Pump It Up. The franchise provides safe inflatable play areas for children to play in. Parents can watch or play, too. After about 90 minutes of hectic play, the kids can be rounded up into a party room for cake, ice cream, pizza, drinks, and goodies (many of these items cost extra). When the party is over, the staff cleans up everything and even carts all of the gifts out to the car. All you have to do is send out the birthday invitations. Because her little boy loves anything with wheels, she had a hard time choosing between the Race Car Invitations or the Fire Truck Invitations for her party.

Ideas #2

Another mom faced the imposing challenge of throwing a great party to celebrate her daughter's 15th birthday. She didn't have a lot of time to plan lots of small party details such as finding a band or booking a location. Instead, she opted to book a party at a miniature golf fun center. Not only did each guest get to play miniature golf, but they also enjoyed a round of competitive laser tag and received tokens for playing video games, including the ever popular Dance Dance Revolution game. Drinks and pizza were provided, too. Plus, the birthday girl received a T-shirt she could have all of her guests sign with markers as a keepsake. When the party was over, the staff cleaned up everything so that was one less thing she had to worry about. To save time, she chose the Birthday Party! Die-cut Fill-in Invitations to announce the big event.

One drawback of these types of parties is the price. Depending on the number of guests and the extras you want to include with your package, you can easily spend a couple hundred dollars on the party. While that's pretty reasonable for a teenager's party, it might be a little high for a toddler's celebration. However, not having to set up the party or clean up afterwards may make it well worth the extra price.
